Purchase & Collection
When you purchase a new mattress from a participating MegaMile retailer, we'll arrange collection of your old mattress from your home.
Inspection & Sanitisation
Your mattress is carefully inspected by our charity partner, Eastern Emergency Relief Network (EERN). If it meets our quality standards, it is professionally sanitised and prepared for its next home.
A Second Life
Suitable mattresses are donated through EERN to help individuals and families experiencing hardship.
If it isn't suitable for donation…
Mattresses that don't meet our quality standards are responsibly recycled through our recycling partners, helping recover valuable materials wherever possible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is there a participation fee?
The participation fee helps cover the cost of inspection, cleaning, sanitising, re-bagging, handling and transport so every accepted mattress is safe and ready for donation.
What happens if my mattress isn't eligible?
If your mattress doesn't meet our donation standards, our delivery team will explain why and discuss the available removal options.
Why aren't king-size mattresses accepted?
Due to transport, storage and charity partner requirements, king-size mattresses cannot currently be accepted.
Why can't mattresses with stains be donated?
For hygiene and safety reasons, any mattress with liquid stains cannot enter the donation program.
Who receives the donated mattresses?
Accepted mattresses are professionally prepared before being donated through our charity partners to people who genuinely need them. The program emphasises transparency by clearly explaining the sanitisation and rehoming process.
Where is this available?
Save My Mattress is currently only available through participating retailers — Snooze, Fortywinks, Bedshed and Bevmarks — located within the MegaMile precinct.
